Moving forward

The lofi girl was right

Sometimes, fighting for a change isn’t worth it.

You try. Again and again. And as hard as you can.
You see the problems. You feel their weight. And you have solutions to propose: clear, practical, good ones.

So you speak up. Naively, you assume others will care.
Why? Because you believe in something simple: that people value integrity.
That a company thrives when its employees do.

But it fails.

Not because your arguments lacked clarity.
Not because the issue was yours alone to bear.
Not because you didn’t reach the right persons.
Not because you didn’t try hard enough.

It fails because people don’t want to change. Ego, laziness, short-term gain, apathy… none of these follow your logic.
And then, you realize something: logic is not the currency here.

So, after being drained by all those efforts, you step back.
Not in defeat, but in self-preservation.

You let go of the illusion that reason will win. Because in the end, the only thing left to fight for is yourself.
